Changes to privacy regulations
On 26th May 2011 the law governing the use of cookies changed. Does your website comply with the new regulations?
Users now have to give their consent explicitly prior to having cookies downloaded on to their computers or mobile devices.
One example of affected sites is those that use Google Analytics, since this uses cookies to provide site statistics. However, if you just use cookies to manage a shopping basket, this is listed as a potential exception to the rule.
