On Tuesday 26th Feb 2019, the First Minister for Scotland launched the Future Female Business Leaders Programme.
The First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announced £100,000 of new funding for an initiative aimed at driving entrepreneurship among females in Scotland.
The Scottish Chambers of Commerce will partner with the Association of Scottish Business Women to deliver the 'Future Female Business Leaders' programme under the banner of #WomenWhoLead.
With some of the most recognisable and successful Scottish businesswomen leading the way to developing, and growing, women-led businesses and women in leadership positions, the goal is to enable everyone to reach their potential & to grasp the business opportunities in Scotland & internationally.
Supported by the First Minister, #WomenWhoLead will specifically work to tackle the key challenges that face women when it comes to growing their business or advancing their professional careers. The programme will provide participants with an unparalleled network of experienced women in business who will mentor, guide and support the growth of women-led businesses and senior women in the corporate and public sector.
If you are an established business with ambitions for growth, then this programme can unlock your potential.
If you are working in the corporate or public sector at senior management/board level, this programme can support the next stage of your growth
If you have experience in the private sector and would like to support the growth of women in business.
OR
