Best Performing Team Award

Background

Introduced in 2013 this award celebrates the power of the many in driving breakthrough results and impact.


Eligibility

The Award is open to businesses and charities operating in Scotland. Social Enterprises & Corporate teams may apply.

Mixed gender teams can apply but a woman must be the driving force behind the business, charity or social enterprise.

If you won the Best Performing Team of the Year Award last year then you are not eligible to enter the category this year.‚Äč

Entry is free for affiliate members and ASB direct members, and costs £50 per entry for non-members.


Criteria assessed (500 words max per criterion)

  • Common focus in the team
  • Resources are allocated efficiently and processes are in place to ensure that the final objective is achieved
  • Concern with getting the job done
  • Effective communication
  • The team is able to solve problems
  • Trust displayed within team
  • Supportive teamwork

Application process

The application should be submitted via the ASB website.

Applications should be accompanied by two endorsements/references.

  • Closing date for entries is 5pm on Friday 29th June, 2018
  • Only online applications will be accepted.
  • The shortlisted finalists will be asked to attend an interview with the judging panel, in Edinburgh, during the w/c Monday 23rd July, 2018.
  • Finalists are required to attend the Awards Dinner on Friday 21st September, at the Apex City Quay Hotel, Dundee.
