What is your background prior to working for this company or setting up your company?
Studied hospitality management and worked in many hotels in Inverness doing events and front of house duties.
What makes your company and/or your role stand out?
I think we stand out as I am passionate about getting things done right the first time, having a background in hospitality has certainly shaped the business ethos.
Why did you apply, how did you find the process and the awards evening?
As I am part of the HBW Club they asked me if I would consider applying after winning most enterprising business at their awards. I really enjoyed the process from taking time to do the application to having the interview the whole process made me sit back and reflect on all the business has achieved.
What are your plans for the future?
We will continue to grow with new clients and new team members, we will recruit on the skill sets our clients need to ensure that we support them in best way we possibly can. We will also be looking at new geographical locations to tap into new areas with our services.
What inspires and motivates you?
Everyone around me motivates me to be the best I can be. I really feel that has a knock on effect throughout the Planit team and the clients we support. Our clients see that we work hard for them but the team have a close bond and support each other with workload. When I look at the balance we have in the business I am really excited about the future possibilities for Planit Scotland.
