Faith Simpson Chartered Certified Accountants is celebrating the opening of a new office at 26 Dublin Street, Edinburgh in the heart of the city’s bustling New Town.
Faith Simpson’s third branch was officially opened on 30th March and the evening celebrations were attended by, among others, Scotland rugby international Hamish Watson and Gregor Lawson, co-founder of Morphsuits.
The company, which has been in operation for over 10 years, originally started in a spare room in a house in Elgin before expanding to Huntly through an acquisition in 2014. Since then it has grown rapidly with clients stretching across the whole of the UK.
Commenting on the new office, company founder, Faith Simpson said:
“This is a very exciting time for the company. We have seen demand for our services increase in Edinburgh over the past year so it made sense for us to open a dedicated office in the capital to better service our local clients. As a company we are at the forefront of technology so, with the move to making tax digital, we are offering first class service to Edinburgh’s vibrant and growing entrepreneurial base.
“On a personal level, I’m delighted to be moving back home! I moved away from Edinburgh in 1990 so it’s great to be come back to my home turf.
“Edinburgh is one of the fastest growing and most productive cities in the UK and we are so excited to begin the next chapter in the company’s history.
“It was great that so many people from the business community turned out to support our new office opening. We look forward to developing our office into a thriving business and to making a positive impact in the local community, something about which I’m passionate.”
