From Bullied Schoolgirl to Award Winning £1M Business Woman

ASB Member, Liv Conlon of The Property Stagers, was recently speaking to BBC Radio Scotland on her business journey.

Liv, who is from Bothwell in South Lanarkshire, was bullied from a young age. She speaks about the challenges she faced through primary and secondary school. Yet, through adversity she turned her energy to starting her own business at just 13 years old. She left school at 16, bucking the trend to take her high exam achievement to university in favour of being her own boss. Seven years on she now has a successful interiors business, turning obver in excess of £1 million.

Liv, who was the much deserved winner of the Young Businesswoman of the Year category in our ASB National Business Awards 2018 says "I think there are so many amazing role models out there..It's really important to surround yourself with people that inspire you."
