One of Scotland’s best-loved holiday destinations has won the award of “Best Resort of the Year” at the 2019 Scottish Hospitality Awards.
The Macdonald Aviemore Resort, in the heart of the Cairngorms, scooped the impressive accolade, having been nominated for the award by guests and members of the public earlier this year. Recognising the achievements of local professionals and establishments across Scotland, the Awards are a memorable celebration of the country’s hospitality industry.

A black tie event held at the Crowne Plaza in Glasgow on Tuesday, the Scottish Hospitality Awards recognised the very best individuals and businesses within the industry across 32 distinct categories.
