Join us in Elgin and Stirling as we take our ASB conferences “on the road”. Meetand network with like-minded businesswomen and enjoy a day ofinteresting and inspiring interactive workshops, discussions andbusiness showcases.
Our workshops led by industry experts aredesigned to challenge, encourage and motivate, and are for employees andbusiness owners. Members are invited to book business showcase tables to promote their businesses
We will look at “What is your why?” Why we need to be clear about our WHY, how this drives our behaviour anddistinguishes us from our competition and what motivates and inspires usto do our very best work every day, and how you can attract and retain the clients you want to work with.
We will then look at “Walking your customer journey”. Do you and your team deliver your values and story in a consistent way? What experience do your customers have with your business? In this fun, interactive and enlightening workshop we will help you look at your business from a different perspective - from the eyes of your customer!
Our third workshop will look at “Who do you think you are?” How you can enhance your personal and business profile so that you have the leading edge on your competitors and strengthen your brand position. We’ll show you how to become a brand ambassador creating an authentic, stand-out identity, set of values and personality for your business.
Our final workshop will show you how to “Get your message out!” Building on everything you have learned during the day we will finish with a very practical workshop showing you how you can use video in social media to share your business story, values and messages with your customers. We'll look at why every business needs video content and how you can get this onto YouTube, Twitter, Snap Chat and Facebook.
At the end of the afternoon we will have a panel discussion with former winners of the ASB National Business Awards. They will share their experiences of the application and interview process and how winning an award has impacted their businesses.
In Stirling only, we will have one extra short presentation from The Responsible Safari Company. This is an opportunity to give something back and take part in a life-changing Women’s Entrepreneurship Expedition to Malawi in October 2018. Be inspired, create new partnerships, share your skills and understand more about the key role of women in Malawi.

Eleanor regularly provides one-to-one executive coaching and team facilitation across Scotland for a range of different organisations, including major companies as well as small independent firms. Her skills, knowledge and experience enable Eleanor to build strong coaching relationships with senior leaders as they steer their teams through massive change.
Lyndsey is a Food and Dairy Technologist and Trained Chef, previously owning a Deli and presently MD of Ayrshire Hampers. She saw a need for Customer Experience training in SMEs and so she started Stimuli Evolve 7 years ago, and now also delivers Emotional Intelligence training, adding qualifications in Counselling Skills, Mindfulness, Business Strategy and Social Psychology recently.
A past member of the Board of the Ayrshire Chamber, an active mentor with Business Mentoring Scotland and now representing the ABW as a volunteer committee member on the ASB Board, Lyndsey loves to work with people and likes nothing better than to see people achieving their dreams and in excelling at what they do best.
Sheena has enjoyed success as a presenter at international HR forums around the world. She appears frequently on radio shows sharing her winning strategies for business.
Sheena is an internationally known speech coach and performance consultant with a rich history of applying proven strategies to her client’s business, careers and life. She is renowned in the fields of business development, speech coaching, public speaking and performance coaching.
Sheena’s coaching background has roots in performance sports and her proactive approach to self study allows Sheena to deliver cutting edge strategies to her clients.
Lucy is managing partner of Skocia Web Design specialising in bespoke web design and social media training for businesses. She is currently contracted by Business Gateway to provide social media training for businesses. Lucy is also a training partner for the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce and is a committee member of Ayrshire Business Women with responsibility for social medai. She was recently a business mentor for Youth Enterprise Scotland and took her winning team to the finals where they won Excellence in Retail.
Lucy’s passion is connecting businesses and supporting other women in business to achieve their goals.
