Women of Inspiration Honours 2016

ASB Women of Inspiration Honours List 2016

The Association of Scottish Businesswomen (ASB) are delighted to announce their Women of Inspiration Honours List 2016 during this time when we are celebrating International Women’s Day.

Ten ladies across Scotland have been recognised as a ‘Woman of Inspiration’ in our 2016 Honours. The Honours give recognition to women who are inspirational role models and to celebrate all that they do for others in the business world in Scotland.

We will be highlighting each of the women in upcoming features and telling more of their stories over the next few days.

Nominations included statements such as:

“She really makes people believe they ‘can’.”

“Truly exemplifies the ultimate Leader quality of ‘passing on the business in a better position than she received it’.”

“Her drive, passion and even endurance at times inspires me on so many levels.”

“This is the third year for the ASB in recognising Women of Inspiration, and we have been overwhelmed by the number of nominations received from all across Scotland. It is my personal pleasure and honour to play a small part in recognising these ten women in 2016. One thing which many of the women have in common is a self-effacing and gracious sense of gratitude for being nominated and honoured for “just doing what I always do”. Ladies, you truly are an inspiration to many!” Alison Henderson, ASB President
