Glen Mhor Hotel & Uile-Bheist Distillery and Brewery

Our beautiful 4star, sustainably operated hotel is located along the River Ness in the centre of Inverness.  After an £8 million pound investment, in 2022, we opened our energy centre using wells in our car park and water source heat pumps and our onsite whisky distillery and brewery Uile-Bheist (pronounced Ewl-Uh-Vhest and means monster in Gaelic).  This is allowing us to remove all gas from our site, provide all the heating and all the water - including for our delicious whisky and beer and with solar PV on the roof, reduce our electrical grid use.  We have placed sustainability and responsible tourism at the heart of our business.

Our hotel has 120 bedrooms along eight connected river view buildings and our fantastic Waterside restaurant prepares freshly created meals using the finest of local produce.  It is worth trying our famous Sticky Toffee Pudding made using our own Dark Horse Stout!  With a variety of function suites available catering for small private dining or events to large functions up to 200, we can cater for all requirements  - and the best part, we are taking care of our local environment with our sustainability and green practices to ensure that all events have a minimal impact on our community.
