I'm Heather Pownall, founder of Heather's Media Hub, a multi-award-winning consultancy that helps organisations
across the healthcare, research, education, charity and membership sectors increase their impact through strategic communications, audience engagement and meaningful partnerships.

I love getting to know an organisation beyond the surface, its people, purpose, culture and ambitions. By understanding the bigger picture, I help clients communicate with confidence, build stronger relationships and create lasting impact. Whether I'm developing strategy, growing memberships, launching podcasts, increasing engagement, supporting leadership teams through change or creating opportunities for collaboration, my focus is always on meaningful outcomes, not simply delivering projects.

My work spans strategic communications and marketing, stakeholder and audience engagement, partnership development, membership growth, podcast strategy and production, content creation, facilitation, workshops, conference and event strategy, sponsorship development, business mentoring and thought leadership. I'm equally passionate about connecting people, creating collaborations and helping organisations discover opportunities they may never have considered.

At the heart of everything I do is a passion for people. I genuinely believe that great things happen when the right people come together, which is why I'm often heard saying, "You two need to know each other!" I love making introductions, building relationships and helping people and organisations achieve more than they thought possible.

I'm a firm believer in collaboration over competition and am delighted to be part of the Fife Women in Business Committee. I look forward to supporting, connecting and championing women in business across the region and beyond while helping to build a thriving, collaborative business community.
