I'm Dr
Laura Wyness, a Registered Nutritionist who specialises in helping women make positive dietary
changes, specifically around midlife and menopause. I've recently
published a book, Eating Well for Menopause, and have developed online
courses on the same topic.
I provide individual
nutrition consultations online as well as workplace wellness talks on
nutrition, either online or in-person. I also delivers training on nutrition and menopause to fellow health
professionals.
With almost 20
years’ experience working as a Nutritionist, I love communicating the
science into practical advice to help women have a smoother menopause
transition.
Another passion of mine is helping people connect with the food they eat. Understanding your foods story and feeling more connected to what we eat, is part of the mindful eating approach I take with many of my clients. I have a Food Connections podcast and I've recently developed the first ever Scottish Eatwell Guide, to help highlight the many nutritious foods produced locally.
