Bee Home Cottage

I own and operate Bee Home Cottage, with support from my husband John Finch, making all-natural soaps and creams for skin, hair and home from a summerhouse we built in our garden. We make six varieties of shampoo & body bars as well as a hand scrub soap – all without palm oil, using essential oils and signature local ingredients where possible. All are packaged in compostable glassine bags and made in small batches without chemicals to support sustainable lifestyles and single-use plastic elimination. We make Lavender Love Face Cream and Nourish Hand & Body Cream in glass pots that can be returned for sterilisation and re-use, offering 50p toward customers’ next Bee Home Cottage purchase in exchange. Further supporting zero-waste lifestyles, we make an all-purpose cleaning spray concentrate from natural soap. We make everything by hand on our small homestead in Rafford, where we tend a growing vegetable and fruit garden and orchard, and keep 6 “zen hens†with goals to live a life of vegetarian self-sufficiency.
