Pippa Ferguson

The Cairn Compass CIC

I am the Co‑Director of The Cairn Compass CIC, a women‑centred resilience and enterprise organisation rooted in Scotland’s landscapes and community values. With over 30 years’ experience in Further Education, wellbeing programme design, and inclusive mentoring, I bring a rare blend of strategic clarity and deeply human support to female founders across Scotland.

At The Cairn Compass, I co‑leads a relational, non‑directive model of enterprise development, one that replaces overwhelm, bureaucracy, and tick‑box guidance with grounded companionship, accountability, and practical progression pathways. Through initiatives such as The Founders Path, The Enterprise Collective, and the monthly Growth Circle, I help women move from early‑stage ideas to sustainable, confident business ownership.

My work is shaped by a commitment to community reinvestment, and accessible growth. Whether delivering strategic masterclasses, facilitating reflective Wild Walk mentoring, or designing regional resilience frameworks, my leadership centres on one core belief: women thrive when they are supported, not steered; accompanied, not assessed.

As Co‑Director, I continue to build a purpose‑driven ecosystem where female entrepreneurs feel seen, held, and equipped to grow enterprises that strengthen both their lives and their local communities.
