Hello, I'm Sarah Thomson, and I'm the proud owner of Och Aye Canoe Ltd, a vibrant company based in the heart of Fife, Scotland. My mission is simple yet exhilarating: to provide unforgettable sit-on kayaking and paddleboarding experiences for individuals aged 8 and above, spanning the breathtaking areas of Fife, Linlithgow, and Falkirk. I am in the process of expanding my business, with the help of some freelance instructors, so new places to come!

At Och Aye Canoe, I believe that adventure knows no bounds, and I welcome everyone, regardless of their skill level. With all equipment provided, I ensure that my participants can dive into the joys of aquatic exploration with ease and confidence.

I'm immensely honoured by the recognition Och Aye Canoe has received in recent years. In 2023, my dedication to excellence was rewarded with the Sole Trader award at the Fife Business Awards, a testament to the hard work and passion that drives me forward. Additionally, in 2022, I was humbled to be recognised as the runner-up for the Kingdom FM Local Heroes New Business Start-Up Award, a nod to my rapid growth and positive impact on the local community.

Beyond my role as owner and director, I'm also deeply committed to ensuring the safety and enjoyment of my participants. Holding certifications as a powerboat instructor, VHF marine radio instructor, and first aid instructor, I strive to uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism in everything I do at Och Aye Canoe.
